New Noize Makers // Halloween Town

Halloween Town - one guy with a big heart and powerful songs. Meet Ryan Pardey, a native of Las Vegas with a passion for songwriting influenced by The Beatles and the Beach Boys.
Ok, so practically everyone is influenced by The Beatles but in Halloween Town’s music it’s clear how much of an influence they are. When talking about the reason why he got into this business Pardey said: “The Beatles, in particular John Lennon’s solo work, seems to be a draw of inspiration that’s been working its way into music. Really, The Beatles are to rock and roll what Shakespeare was to literature so they influence everything”

Pardey knows his stuff being surrounded by music during his time as the tour manager of The Killers taking up a major part of his life until the end of the Sam’s Town tour. “I love those guys and I enjoyed my life travelling with them. I suppose being around people living in what I perceived to be my dream drove me to pursue the things I have”.

Halloween Town recently released EP – ‘Summer the Dreamer from 1997’ which is currently available on download. It’s a great EP cleverly demonstrating sweet tunes of love, loss and friendship showing what we’ve been lacking in music recently, going back to the basics and writing songs listeners can relate to.

Now that he’s got the bug for writing music, Pardey is looking forward to releasing Halloween Town’s debut LP. “The recording process has been fun but slow all the same and I’m eager to get back in there with Jason Hill (Louis XIV) and lay down some stuff to share with everyone”

Looking to the future, Pardey hopes to start a full tour soon. "I’m playing the Midwest alone without a band in December and I’d like to get the record done and take it out there to the streets. I’d love to move to England and tour there for a bit, we’ll see.”

So, if Ryan gets his wish he may be appearing at a venue near you so pop in and say hello, he'd be pleased to see you.
